Job Description

AssureCare is seeking motivated, team-oriented freshers who are driven to make an impact in the healthcare industry through effective healthcare solutions.

To ensure success as Trainee/Associate, you should have a good hands-on experience with Microsoft Office (especially MS Excel), excellent communication skills (written and oral), an aptitude for learning new domains and software products, and a strong sense of teamwork and adaptability.

The iPatientCare Practice Management System is a web-based comprehensive billing system that seamlessly integrates with iPatientCare EHR. You would be trained to use iPatientCare Billing System or any other billing system that integrates with iPatientCare EHR for your area of work allocation, namely, which may include accounts receivable, patient calling, credentialing, eligibility verification, authorization or the complete RCM operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure accuracy of patient demographics and insurance information.
  • Researching, identify, and rectify any circumstances affecting delayed or non-payment of patient insurance claims.
  • Process paper claims for assigned accounts and sends these claims to the appropriate insurer to collect payment on balances owed to the organization.
  • Ensures that clean and correct claim are sent to the insurers, including appropriate back up documentation when required.
  • Prepare and submit coverage and payment appeals to insurances when appropriate.
  • Resolves credit balances due to over-payments within time guidelines and maintain up-to-date knowledge of payor requirements.
  • Contact insurance companies for further explanation of denials and underpayments.
  • Take appropriate action on claims to guarantee resolution.
  • Ensure accurate and timely follow-up when required.
  • Document actions taken in claims billing summary notes.
  • Prioritize the pending claims for calling from the aging bucket to make a physical calls following the
    international norms and applicable rules for confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
  • Responsible for working on denials, rejections, LOAs to accounts, making required corrections to claims.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Candidates with 1 to 3 years of RCM industry experience can apply.
  • Any graduate freshly graduated from college or candidates with a background in BPO/KPO/Call centres who can join immediately are also welcome to apply.
  • Ready to work in 6:30 PM to 3:30 PM IST shift.
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work individually and as a part of the team in a fast-paced agile environment.
  • Ability and desire to quickly learn new software and healthcare domain.
