Job Description

Are you experienced in testing complex enterprise-wide software solutions? AssureCare is looking for motivated, team-oriented Software Quality Assurance (Testers) professionals who are driven to make an impact in the healthcare industry through effective medical management solutions.

To ensure success as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you should have a good working knowledge of Software testing that including manual testing, automation testing, writing test cases, and performing various types of testing like performance, regression, smoke, and adhoc. An aptitude for learning new testing tools, and a sense of teamwork and adaptability are also important. Ultimately, a top-class Software A engineer is expected to provide valuable support to the development team while continually improving their testing skills to deliver quality results to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute in software application testing life cycle.
  • Perform functional and non-functional testing (manual and automation testing)
  • Study the requirement specifications and both, high-level and detailed design documents, to develop functional and non-functional (e.g. performance, load, stress, regression, smoke, sanity, security) test cases.
  • Execute Test cases as per the test plan.
  • Revalidate errors escalated by L2 Support to L3 Support and log findings appropriately.
  • Create or update test cases as needed.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in Software Testing (manual and automation).
  • Hands-on experience in performing different type of testing such as performance, load, stress, regression, smoke, sanity, security etc.
  • Expertise in writing test plans and test cases.
  • Minimum 6 months experience as an Automation Tester using Automation Tool i.e. Selenium with Java/python etc. (Cross-browser).
  • Able to create/maintain standard test automation frameworks.
  • Experience in verification, validation, testing techniques, testing types, bug flow and familiarity with the concepts of SDLC and STLC.
  • Experience in writing automation scripts, generating automation metrics, API testing, and API automation.
  • Proficient in understanding of the syntax of code/scripts (ability to read code).
  • Proficient in SQL – ability to understand stored procedures and write queries for the test data extraction and manipulation.
  • Ability to proficiently understand requirements gathering/testing/defect management and tracking.
  • Strong ability to contribute to critical/complex projects and function independently within an established framework.
  • Ability to self-learn on new tools and technologies related to Software Testing applied at work (for example Exploratory Session-based Testing, Page Load testing, Failover testing etc. ), Scrum methodology and its framework.
  • Ability to learn and apply best practices of Quality and Test Management

Additional Skills

  • Understanding of the healthcare industry, related technologies, and regulatory needs (e.g: HIPAA)
