Research Publication: Community pharmacist intervention to optimize statin adherence in diabetes care: The GuIDE-S study

Our own Tara Pfund, PharmD continued to participate in a study to evaluate community pharmacist intervention impact on statin adherence in type 2 diabetes care. When appropriate, participating pharmacists would prescribe station with a collaborative practice agreement. 185 patients on statin therapy were analyzed against 370 control patients resulting in higher statin adherence compared to standard care.
