Research Publication: Community pharmacist intervention to close statin gaps in diabetes care: The GuIDE-S study

Health education plays a key role in keeping each of us well and strong. Our own Tara Pfund, PharmD participated in a research paper to study how community pharmacist intervention can close statin gaps in type 2 diabetes care. They also reported on perceptions of feasibility and fidelity of the intervention. Through partnership and education, more patients initiated statin therapy compared to standard care.
