Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Support expert in AWS Administration to manage the administration of our AWS cloud environment. The role requires a hands-on experience in AWS cloud-based services with a focus on providing L2 support for cloud operations. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and leadership as and when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage core AWS services: EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, Route 53.
  • Assist in the implementation of AWS cloud infrastructure, focusing on security, performance, and cost optimization.
  • Troubleshoot AWS-related issues, including connectivity, instance health, and storage concerns.
  • Analyse cloud logs and provide root cause analysis for outages or failures.
  • Manage OS updates for AWS instances (Windows).
  • Implement and manage cloud security practices using AWS services like IAM, Security Groups, and CloudTrail.
  • Monitor AWS resources for optimum performance and availability.
  • Assist in the setup and management of hybrid cloud connectivity (VPNs, Direct Connect, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls).
  • Support backup and disaster recovery processes for AWS environments
  • Set up monitoring tools like CloudWatch, AWS Config for health and performance metrics.
  • Knowledge of security best practices (KMS, WAF, Security Hub).
  • Understand AWS cost management and resource optimization.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of hands-on AWS experience.
  • Basic knowledge of hybrid cloud (on-premises and AWS).
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and document cloud changes.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills in cloud environments.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (preferred).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Effective team player with minimal supervision.
  • Attention to detail and solid documentation skills.

Additional Skills

Understanding of the US healthcare industry.
