HIMSS22: Thought Leaders, Exhibitors, and Attendees Convene to Reimagine Healthcare

The buzz and energy at this year’s HIMSS22 was palpable. It was clear that exhibitors and attendees alike were thrilled to convene back in person after a long two years from the COVID pandemic. From the exhibit floor to post-event gatherings, it felt amazing to reconnect with people we have not seen in over two years. The theme for this year’s HIMSS was “Reimagine Health,” and it was incredible to hear about all the innovations and initiatives that are driving positive change in healthcare.

As a population health management company connecting care for payers, providers, and pharmacies across the US and internationally, AssureCare is among those champions of positive change, and we were proud to have the opportunity to showcase our latest product offerings during the conference. Our mission to improve human lives by taking a patient-centric approach to technology and providing a 360-degree view of the patient across the care continuum was front and center in our presence at HIMSS.

During the conference, we had two fundamental product announcements that are anchors of our connected care strategy:

• Population Health Management Platform. Comprised of solutions designed for Care Management, Utilization Management, Comprehensive Pharmacy (community & specialty), and Provider Services, our Pop Health solution is taking a patient-centric approach to empower payors, providers, and pharmacies to coordinate care more effectively and efficiently
• Specialty Pharmacy. Designed for the unique needs and workflow for specialty pharmacies that are treating patients with rare and complex, chronic conditions, our Specialty Pharmacy solution is helping pharmacists deliver quality care and maximize referral and revenue streams

In addition to the above product offerings, our ability to incorporate pharmacists and pharmacy data into the bigger population health picture was a predominant message on display throughout our booth, demos, and conversations.

Finally, we also had the pleasure to engage with many thought leaders, editors, and reporters who are working hard to share the stories on the impressive work care providers and vendors are doing to reimage the future of healthcare. Our executives participated in interviews with Healthcare IT Today, Healthcare Innovation, Health Leaders, Dr. Nick “The Incrementalist,” HIT Answers, and HIMSSTV, all centered around topics near and dear to our hearts: improving human lives through coordinated care.
