Job Description

AssureCare is looking for motivated, team-oriented, US Medical Billing professionals who are driven to make an impact in the healthcare industry through effective medical billing services.

To ensure success as Associate/Sr. Associate, you should have a good hands-on Microsoft Office (especially MS Excel), excellent communication skills (written and oral), prior experience in US Medical Billing process either in Billing or Payment posting.

iPatientCare Practice Management System is a Web based comprehensive billing system that seamlessly integrates with iPatientCare EHR. You would be trained to use iPatientCare Billing System or any other billing system that integrates with iPatientCare EHR to perform your area of expertise either in Billing or payment posting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure accuracy of patient demographics and insurance information
  • If you are working in payment posting then, perform end to end Payment posting process that includes, identifying, researching, and ensuring timely processing of payments, error corrections, ensuring appropriate documentation of payments, allowances, denial, rejections, etc. as recorded on individual accounts.
  • If you are working in billing process then, perform end to end billing process that includes review of referrals and authorizations for treatments, confirm patient benefits and insurance eligibility, transfer insurance claims and billing data to billing software, update billing software with rate changes (fee schedule) and more.
  • To follow and adhere to all regulations and guidelines set by state programs, and HMO/PPO, etc.
  • To create both paper and electronic copies of documentation.
  • Meets or exceeds departmental productivity standards on a consistent basis

Skills & Qualifications

  • Must have at least 1 years of experience in US Medical Billing process
  • Ready to work in 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM PM IST shift.
  • Reasonably good English communication skills, written and oral
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, capable of multi-tasking, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work individually and as a part of the team in a fast-paced agile environment.
  • Ability to interface directly with cross-functional teams.
